DESCRIPTION
A highly active, brush-on type, liquid paint and varnish stripper containing a powerful blend of chlorinated solvents, with acid phenolic activator system, corrosion inhibitors, emulsifiers, and evaporation inhibitors.
APPLICATIONS
Recommended for use in paint shops, maintenance shops, equipment refurbishers, trucking firms, chemical haulers, sign companies, automotive rebuilders, and metal fabricators. Effective in removing the following finishes: alkyds, aluminum paint, baked enamels, baked polyisocyanates, epoxies, epoxy-polyesters, oil-based paints, polyesters, polyurethanes, primers, and varnishes.
Note: Not for use on wood, plastics or fiberglass.

ZEP FORMULA 1365
Liquid paint and varnish remover
Fast-acting stripper for paints and lacquers. Removes acrylics, epoxies,
polyesters, vinyl, as well as conventional paints and lacquers. Use on
aluminum, brass, copper, steel, and stainless steel.
Useful for removing Scotchlite (3M Company) from signs.
DIRECTIONS:
FLOORS BEING STRIPPED WITH THIS PRODUCT ARE VERY SLIPPERY.
DO NOT WALK ON THESE AREAS UNTIL MATERIAL IS SCRAPED UP.
Brush or pour onto surface to be stripped. Allow to remain in contact with
surface for 10 minutes for complete action. On vertical surfaces or on metal
parts, paint can then be flushed off with a strong stream of water. For large
horizontal surfaces such as floors, the bulk of old paint, sealer or varnish can
be scraped up with a shovel or squeegee and deposited in a sealable container
for proper disposal. (See “Spill” statement.) Then the floor should be cleaned
with a detergent solution and rinsed thoroughly with a strong stream of water.
Remove Scotchlite from road signs or other signs as follows: Apply a thick coat
of ZEP FORMULA 1365 to the surface of the sign. Allow to soak until Scotchlite
is loosened -– approximately five minutes. Work with a brush and remove with
a strong stream of water.
NOTE: Not for use on aircraft or aircraft materials. ZEP FORMULA 1365 may be
corrosive to magnesium alloys and zinc, and damaging to plastic and fiberglass
surfaces. If any question exists about the potential to damage the surface to be
stripped, pretest product on a small, inconspicuous area prior to full-scale use.
